UTC-1200 Series Rapid Chloride Permeability Test (RCPT) Equipment

The UTC-1200 Series RCPT Equipment is an advanced solution designed to evaluate the resistance of concrete samples to chloride ion penetration. This state-of-the-art testing system is compliant with ASTM C 1202 and ASTM C 1760 standards, providing reliable and accurate permeability ratings for concrete.

Key Features

  • Comprehensive Testing:
    Measures the permeability of 100 mm diameter concrete samples using a 3.0% salt solution and 0.3 N sodium hydroxide solution with a maintained 60 V DC voltage.
  • Accurate Results:
    Equipped with four cells and PT-100 sensors for precise temperature monitoring during tests. The charge passed through the sample is recorded to determine a qualitative permeability rating.
  • Advanced Cells:
    Two cell options are available:
    • UTC-1210 Standard Cell: Ideal for regular testing needs.
    • UTC-1220 Cell with Cooling Fins: Designed for applications requiring stable temperatures.
      Both options include spacer disks and rubber gaskets for secure sample placement.

Measurement Unit (UTC-1205)

The RCPT Measurement Unit features:

  • 4 Measurement Channels: Simultaneous monitoring of multiple samples.
  • High Precision: 60 ± 0.1 V application voltage and 0–400 ± 0.1 mA measurement range.
  • User-Friendly Interface: A 190x64 resolution LCD screen displays temperature and current readings for each cell.
  • Data Export: Includes USOFT-1200 software for real-time monitoring and result reporting in Excel or PDF format.

Optional Accessories

For optimal specimen preparation, the following accessories are available:

  • Vacuum Pump (UTGE-3530): Dual-stage, 128 L/min capacity with included plastic tubing and fittings.
  • Vacuum Container (UTGE-3560): 4.3 L capacity with water inlet.
  • Vacuum Gauge (UTGE-3552): Analog, with a scale range of -100/0 kPa, and high accuracy.
  • Filter Flask (UTGG-2016): 2,000 ml capacity for vacuum applications.
  • Air Drying Unit (UTGE-3570): Vacuum type water trap for efficient drying.
